03 / Tuning box vs. remapping

A reversible module instead of a permanent ECU write.

RaceChip is an external tuning box inserted into the vehicle wiring. Remapping changes the ECU file. The difference matters for installation, reset, servicing and later fine tuning.

04 / Function & installation

Plug & Drive, with no wire cutting.

RaceChip connects between sensors and ECU through OEM connectors. The module reads signals, optimizes them in real time and relays them onward while the manufacturer ECU keeps control.

  • Instructions are tied to the exact model and engine.
  • Typical installation takes around 10-15 minutes.
  • The system is reversible and does not require a permanent ECU flash.
